We can look back on a very successful Open Day on September 16. 220 people from the entire animal feed sector came to take a look at our renovated pilot plant and made extensive use of the networking opportunities while enjoying a snack and drink.
The 18 partner companies that contributed to the realization of the renovation were present with a booth during the Open Day. The visitors were extensively informed about the new possibilities in our pilot plant:

  • The capacity has been reduced to 200 to 800 kg per hour
  • There is the option to extend the conditioning residence time from 50 to 500 seconds
  • A mobile cooler has been installed that can be placed under the press as well as under the vacuum coater
  • Extruded granules are first passed over a flash off belt for a steam extraction and transport to the dryer
  • A 5-batch dryer is installed
  • Many more sensors have been placed for optimal registration of all data during testing
  • The first steam quality meter in the compound feed industry in Europe has been installed
